May days...

May has been a great month, I can't believe it's already summer. The church was updating the directory, so we had an opportunity to take our first-ever family portraits. We've made attempts over the past year, but Ellie wasn't a huge fan of all the cameras and noisy backdrops, so we came away with nothing but tears. This time was different, she was such a good sport. She got hot and sweaty from running around the church while we waited, but at least she's smiling! :)

Mother's Day was fun and spent with family. We spent Memorial Day weekend at home because Ellie was sick with a terrible virus the week before, so we just took it easy. We made a trip to the park to feed the ducks on the river and play on the playground. :)
