River Rats...

We've had a fun kick-off to summer this month with a lot of "firsts" for our little water-bug :). It doesn't matter what kind of swimming/splashing it is - she is all about it. We've made a few trips to Uncle Matt's on Lake LBJ for Ellie's first time fishing...
...first time visiting the "Slab",where the Llano River runs over some amazing granite slabs with all kinds of neat shallow pools, chutes, etc....


Then Ellie got to enjoy her friend Izzy's "waterpark" at her 3rd birthday. It was her first trip down a water slide, and afterwards she came up with a wet face and said she didn't want to go down again because "My ears got all droopy" :). It really was a fun set up to have in the backyard, and we had a blast!
