Another Baby Storey!

After a 5 month break, I'm back to blogging. :) To catch up: over Spring Break I found out I was pregnant again - yay! Then the end of the school year was nuts with awards programs and graduation, so time flew until summer vacation started. We made a trip to Miles and one to Houston for a friend's wedding, and then the very next weekend everything came to a screeching halt. I was hospitalized on July 5th for pre-term labor contractions at only 20 weeks along. Life has been a bit scary since, with two more hospital stays and being on bedrest for the past 9 weeks, but baby Hudson (yes, it's a BOY!!!) is doing well and we are just praying for another two months to go by before he comes. I go in to the dr. every week for a shot and take meds at home to stop the contractions when they start up again.

Being bedridden is no piece of cake and I have a new found respect for all those who are confined to bed and to their homes. I've read so many books I've lost count, and I've watched all 10 seasons of Friends (twice). I'm now on to knitting - don't laugh, it's actually the best way I've found to make the time go by and still feel like I'm doing something somewhat productive!

Every day that goes by means a better chance at life for this little boy, so I have nothing to complain about and I hope to make it to at least Oct 25th. My actual due date is Nov 22nd.

Ellie started back to school last week and loves it. Not being able to play with her or take her any where has been rough on us the past few months, so I'm glad she has something new to look forward to every day.
