We had a great fourth of July weekend. We took Ellie swimming in Johnson Creek on a ranch that Curt visited a lot when he was growing up. He had fun watching her enjoy the same swimming hole as he did all those years ago. :) It really is an amazing place...
Then we took in the local fireworks show in Kerrville. There was a lot of build up all day, so Ellie was pretty pumped. When the show finally started and the big BANG hit, she screamed "I don't like it! I don't like the fireworks!!!" tears galore. So we had to sit together in the truck and watch from the safety of our window. Then of course the next day she was telling everyone how much she LOVED the fireworks and naming all the colors. :)
